This is the second segment of the four classes.
You must take Basic before taking Therapy I and Therapy I is a prerequisite for Therapy II & III.
In the theory sessions, advanced theory and current research is discussed to expand upon the knowledge learned in Basic. There is also a very thorough review of Basic theory. Our small class sizes and one-on-one teaching provide optimal learning experiences. A written exam is given at the end of the course to test the student's competence in basic lymphology and MLD theory.
The practical sessions of this course include special techniques for the joints, the head (including intra-oral) and abdomen. They introduce the student to therapeutic applications, especially orthopedic indications. A review of all Basic techniques and sequences is given. A practical exam at the end of the course, tests a participant’s competence in Basic skills of Dr. Vodder’s MLD.
Required book for the course is "Dr. Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage; A Practical Guide" by the Wittlinger's
